Adobe has introduced a new AI agent for Photoshop that will be able to suggest how to use various tools and perform tasks for them, reports Engadget.
Users will be able to access the new tool through the Actions panel, which will open a chatbot-like window. There, they can ask how to perform any action in Photoshop. The AI agent will not only explain everything step by step, but will also be able to perform these actions with a demonstration for the user.
The agent will be able to perform almost any request. During the presentation, Adobe demonstrated how the AI assistant applies a color gradient to text and then to the background behind it. We previously reported that such AI agents will help perform tasks not only in Photoshop, but also in Premiere.
During the presentation, Adobe also unveiled an updated version of Firefly, the company's AI-powered app. The new version brings together tools for generating video, audio, images, and vectors. The update will first be available on the web, and will later be released for iOS and Android apps.
Adobe has also updated its large language models, Firefly Image Model 4 and Image Model 4 Ultra. The Ultra version will be able to generate images at 2K resolution. The company also claims that both versions provide best-in-class human generation and that they were trained on legal materials, without using copyrighted works.
Alternatively, Adobe also offers models from other vendors in Firefly. In particular, users will have access to Imagen 3 and Google's recently introduced Veo 2. Firefly will also be able to use models from OpenAI and other companies.
