The Ukrainian party role-playing game Titans of the Past from Devil's Dozen Games has received a demo version on Steam.
Titans of the Past is a party dungeon crawl in the spirit of 1990s role-playing games with one very important difference. It's not a turn-based game, time only passes when your characters take some action or move. Yes, it's a kind of Superhot, but not an action, but a role-playing game, with spells instead of firearms and dungeons instead of abstract futuristic levels.
As it should be in a classic role-playing game, there are a lot of character classes here - 35 (!), a bunch of races - 15 (!), over 200 spells, hundreds of items, amplifiers, etc. In the dungeons you will find more than 50 monsters, hidden buttons and doors, traps, secrets and everything else that should be in dungeons. A kind of classic Might and Magic, but with procedural level generation, notes of Superhot and low-poly graphics on Unreal Engine 5. It looks interesting.
The authors want to release the full version of Titans of the Past in September 2025. The game has English and Ukrainian localizations, so there's nothing stopping you from trying the demo and adding Titans of the Past to your Wishlist.
