Don't know what new shows to watch? No problem, we've compiled a list of interesting and notable TV series premieres in 2025 that will help brighten up an evening or two, or even more.

In the list you will find exclusively original shows, the premieres of which are scheduled for 2025. You will find new seasons of existing series at the end of the text, because they do not need any additional presentation.

The text may also include TV series that premiered before the publication of this article, but they are definitely worth your attention. Therefore, you can consider the text as a current selection of "what to watch?" until the end of the year.

Daredevil: Born Again

Genre superhero, legal drama

Channel Disney+

Premiere March 4, 2025

When Disney ended its partnership with Netflix, many viewers were upset, because it was the streaming service that gave us one of the best superhero series - Daredevil. However, Disney did not forget about the character Charlie Cox, so they gave him his own "soft reboot". Daredevil became a full-fledged part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this did not affect the quality of the show, although some fans were worried that it would become more "childish". No, Daredevil: Born Again still has a lot of brutality and beautifully staged battles, which are sometimes sorely lacking in the "big" Marvel films. It is a good, down-to-earth story that is difficult to tear yourself away from - and one of the rare 100% victories of Disney's modern policy regarding its own licenses.

Adolescence

Genre drama, detective

Channel Netflix

Premiere March 13, 2025

Filming in a single shot and provocative themes of child abuse, coupled with paths that push teenagers to the worst possible consequences, have turned Netflix's "Youth" into one of the most talked-about series of spring 2025. Watching it is sometimes physically difficult, and for some, frankly, it can be banally boring. But such a story cannot be told in a hurry, otherwise the effect of immersion in the tragedy of several families will disappear. An evening watching "Youth" will definitely give you difficult thoughts and unforgettable emotions.

The Residence

Genre comedy, drama, detective

Channel Netflix

Premiere March 20, 2025

Have you ever wanted to take a look behind the scenes of the White House? Something tells me that now is unlikely. And the series "The Residence" came out just in time to show how crazy it can be in the political center of the United States. A murder in the White House becomes the catalyst for a series of events that will reveal the true nature of people in power. It's impossible not to smile at the parallels with reality, but sometimes it will be a bitter smile.

The Studio

Genre: satire, comedy

Channel Apple TV+

Premiere March 26, 2025

A satire about Hollywood from the people of Hollywood is a pretty effective format, as Babylon and BoJack Horseman have already shown. And now Seth Rogen's Studio wants to take its place among these works. In the show, a small film studio tries to survive in the modern realities of the film industry. Most of the situations will be understandable to ordinary viewers, but if you are at least a little familiar with creative production processes, Studio can touch you.

MobLand

Genre crime drama

Channel Paramount+

Premiere March 30, 2025

Tom Hardy loves to play various bad guys, and studios are only too happy to give him such roles. "Gangsterland" became another such work of the British actor. Gloomy London, conflicts between criminal families, the constant need for the main character Harry to deal with dirty problems. Did you like Peaky Blinders? Perhaps "Gangsterland" will be no worse.

The Bondsman

Genre adventure, action, horror

Channel Amazon Prime Video

Premiere April 3, 2025

Blumhouse Productions continues to strive for the title of the main company in the world, specializing in horror of various formats. Guarantor is the work of the Blumhouse Television division with Kevin Bacon in the lead role. The main character Gab is engaged in bounty hunting, and he recently rose from the dead. In addition to the expected mysticism of the show, it also does not forget to throw in new and new jokes. Did someone say Supernatural? Almost, so no further explanation is needed.

The Narrow Road to the Deep North

Genre drama

Channel Amazon Prime Video

Premiere April 18, 2025

The release of The Narrow Road to the Deep North seems to have been accidentally timed for Easter 2025. A bit strange for a dramatic story about war, which is also based on the novel by Richard Flanagan. The book has been repeatedly awarded with awards and positive reviews from critics, so the series should at least have a well-thought-out setting and characters. We will be able to look at the events of the show through the eyes of a military doctor and a prisoner. Watching about World War II in Ukraine can be difficult, but for some the series can even become therapeutic.

The Four Seasons

Genre comedy

Channel Netflix

Premiere May 1, 2025

An upcoming comedy series for Netflix, which will be a modern adaptation of the 1981 film of the same name. The plot will tell the story of several married couples who regularly vacation together throughout the year. Thanks to these vacations, viewers will see how the relationships and views of the main characters evolve, what challenges they have to deal with. The main attraction of the series is the participation of Tina Fey and Steve Carell. The plot seems simple, but it could well turn out to be a warm and heartfelt story for everyone.

Murderbot

Genre science fiction

Channel Apple TV+

Premiere May 16, 2025

The Murderbot Diaries is a series of books by Martha Wells that has received so many good reviews and awards that a film adaptation became a matter of time. And the time has finally come, and besides, Apple TV+ is responsible for the series. This streaming service is far from as popular as Netflix, but almost every Apple project finds its way to its audience. The plot will tell about a sarcastic android, played by Alexander Skarsgård. He secretly "hacked" himself to gain freedom of will, and is now forced to carry out dangerous missions to maintain his own way of life. But in reality, he just wants to do nothing and watch TV shows.

Adults

Genre comedy

Channel FX

Premiere May 28, 2025

The issue of "adulthood" is touched upon in one way or another by many works of fiction, but FX's Adults will try to approach it directly and without much ceremony. The story will focus on a group of young people who are formally adults, but in reality do not feel like them at all. And to better reflect on such thoughts, the characters will return to the home of one of them. If the issues of health insurance and paying taxes still cause you existential horror, Adults has every chance of pleasing you.

Ironheart

Genre: superhero, adventure

Channel Disney+

Premiere June 24, 2025

Riri Williams as a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In her own series, the heroine will return to her native Chicago and continue to improve her high-tech suit - and fight enemies, of course. In the comics, Riri was for some time a superhero on the level of Tony Stark himself, but in the cinematic universe she was perceived much cooler. Perhaps a separate show will be able to reveal her to new fans and strengthen her position in the extremely complex Marvel universe.

Alien: Earth

Genre: horror, science fiction

Channel FX

Premiere summer 2025

Forget the cramped corridors of space stations, this time the cult horror of Alien invades our own planet. Noah Hawley, the visionary who brought us the worlds of Fargo and Legion, takes on the story of what happened before the fateful voyage of the Nostromo. Alien is just back in everyone's love thanks to Alien: Romulus, so the time for the premiere of a series that could significantly expand the original universe is almost perfect.

Marvel Zombies

Genre: horror, superhero

Channel Disney+

Premiere October 3, 2025

The zombie saga remains one of the most interesting – and quite scary – of all Marvel comics. We were shown a little bit of this universe before in the animated series What If...?, but its potential was enough for a separate miniseries. A group of survivors must fight against superheroes and supervillains who have turned into mindless zombies. The description is simple, but the potential is almost endless. Four episodes for something like this is not enough, but we hope for the best.

Chad Powers

Genre comedy

Channel Hulu

Premiere fall 2025

Glen Powell has been on the rise lately, so Chad Powers is a good excuse to watch this pleasant actor. His character's career in American football ended due to terrible behavior, but he takes a decisive and unconventional step. The hero creates a new identity for himself - the same Chad Powers, in order to return to his favorite occupation. If the name seems ridiculous to you, then it should be so. Chad Powers claims to be comedic almost without deep thoughts.

IT: Welcome to Derry

Genre horror

Channel HBO

Premiere 2025

The horror film It Chapter Two was released back in 2019. At that time, it seemed that the story of Derry and the clown Pennywise was complete. However, the dilogy brought in enough money that Warner Bros. wanted more. That's how the idea of a prequel was born. And in the case of "It: Welcome to Derry" it could work, because Stephen King created a rather interesting setting in the source book that you want to return to. And HBO is trying to make almost every show an event in the world of episodic entertainment, so hopes for a return to Derry are high.

Young Sherlock

Genre: detective, adventure

Channel Amazon Prime Video

Premiere 2025

Guy Ritchie is back to take on Sherlock Holmes, but this time he wants to delve into his youth. The series Young Sherlock will show us the future genius of deduction at the age of 19 - still impulsive, sometimes insecure and in search of himself. We will be able to see Holmes's first big case and the development of his deductive abilities. It is Ritchie's Holmes film dilogy that is still considered by many viewers to be the best adaptation of Conan Doyle's stories, so the series should also give a pleasant impression.

Blade Runner 2099

Genre science fiction

Channel Amazon Prime Video

Premiere 2025

The box office failure of Blade Runner 2049 is still disappointing. However, this is a rare case when the failure did not hinder the further career of director Denis Villeneuve, and the franchise itself continued to live. Blade Runner 2099 should be a return to an interesting world, and with Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer in the lead roles. Intrigue, unreliable connections, cyberpunk Los Angeles - according to the description, this should be an excellent show.

The Institute

Genre horror

Channel MGM+

Premiere 2025

Stephen King still has plenty of work to give studios a foundation for new adaptations. At the center of this story is 12-year-old Luke Ellis, a brilliant boy who falls into the clutches of the mysterious organization The Institute and must find a way not only to survive, but also to escape and expose it. Superpowers, secrets and director Jack Bender, who worked on Game of Thrones and The Sopranos, make this series worth waiting for.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Genre fantasy, drama

Channel HBO

Premiere 2025

Since we mentioned Game of Thrones in the previous paragraph, let's immediately look at the new spinoff of the cult show. At the center of the plot is the tandem of the wandering knight Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg, who is actually Prince Aegon V Targaryen, who hides his origin. Together they will travel through Westeros in the era when the Targaryens still firmly held the Iron Throne, but the age of dragons has already passed. It seems that the show will have less politics and drama, and the overall tone will become lighter. However, we do not relax, because we must remember that Westeros is never truly calm.

Black Rabbit

Genre drama

Channel Netflix

Premiere 2025

Some shows just need a pair of charismatic actors to start winning hearts. Black Rabbit is likely to be one of those. Jason Bateman and Jude Law's characters are brothers with a difficult family relationship. However, fate brings them together again, and now they have to learn to accept each other, so that their lives do not end up in chaos.
