The first images of the Chery Tiggo 9 model have appeared, which should occupy the flagship position for the Chinese company. This is indicated not only by the design, which combines retractable handles from the Range Rover Velar and the Panamericana grille from Mercedes, but also by the dimensions – the length reaches the 4.8-meter mark. In addition, 5/6/7-seater interior options are expected, which will offer two or three rows of seats. And it will also offer a front panel in the style of the Mercedes GLS – with two displays and almost rectangular ventilation deflectors below.

There is little technical information about the Chery Tiggo 9 technology. Depending on the sources, the use of a 1.6-liter or 2-liter engine is reported. However, in any case, it will be “turbo” and gasoline. There is also no certainty about the transmission: a 7-speed robotic gearbox or an 8-speed classic automatic one is expected. However, in any case, it will be all-wheel drive. In addition, 20-inch wheels, matrix LED headlights, and driver assistance systems are expected for the Chery Tiggo 9 model.

More detailed information will become known later, closer to the start of car sales. And this should happen in the first half of 2023. However, for now, it only applies to China, where the car will be offered at a price of approximately $30,000.
