The Ukrainian space PvPvE shooter SAND about Galicians in space has launched a new open playtest that anyone can join. To do this, go to the game's Steam page and request access to the game.

After preliminary testing, players were dissatisfied with the game's optimization, and even the new playtest has already posted comments about performance issues. However, the developers from Hologryph and TowerHaus studios urge to report any problems in the game on the official Discord server.

In SAND, players find themselves on the lost planet Sophia, where they go in search of precious resources and treasures. To efficiently navigate the harsh deserts, players can design and modify the walking mechanisms of the Tramplers, which also serve as a base.

Having found all possible useful resources, new weapons, ammunition, and other items, and having engaged in several battles, players evacuate with the help of a space tug. Earlier, the first reviews of SAND appeared on Fringe, where you can learn more about what the new game is.

The developers don't say how long the open playtest will last, but online SAND has already passed the 4 thousand player mark in less than a day after the access was opened. The developers note that they are aware of the presence of bugs, but also say that this playtest will allow them to understand what the game will look like at the release, the date of which is still unknown.
