According to Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg insider and journalist, Apple has decided to postpone the release of Vision Pro 2.
If everything goes according to plan, the headset will be released between the fall of 2025 and the spring of 2026. This new version is expected to have some significant updates, including a switch to a more powerful M5 processor. This will be a big jump from the M2 chip used in the current model.
Despite internal updates, Vision Pro 2 is likely to retain the same design as the current version.
In other words, Apple will focus on improving software and internal components to increase performance and improve the user experience, rather than on significant aesthetic changes.
