Google is testing a new conversational search feature that will allow users to communicate with the search engine in real time. This was reported by an insider @AssembleDebug.
Google already has a voice search function, but it works only on a per-query basis and requires constant pressing of the corresponding button to activate it.
In the new version, users will be able to simply ask new questions on a regular basis and receive an answer immediately. In particular, these can be contextual questions based on the first request, as shown in the video from an insider.

The new search engine feature will be more similar to communicating with a chatbot like Gemini or smart home devices. It is not yet known when it will become publicly available and whether the web version will have this feature.
