The Ukrainian studio SoFarSoFun has shown the debut gameplay trailer of BEYONDER, which was first presented at Ukrainian Games Festival 2024 in the summer. The trailer shows the game’s three-player multiplayer, nostalgic aesthetics, and horror elements.

BEYONDER is a multiplayer PvP game for up to 32 players. At the beginning of each round, players are divided into three teams with different playstyles – tactical shooter, stealth hunting, or battle royale horror. Multiplayer will focus on teamwork and communication between players, who will be forced to choose whether to help or deceive each other while being hunted by others.

BEYONDER is set in the late 1990s in the Pine Grove complex, a top-secret government facility where paranormal phenomena are investigated. When an experiment turns into a disaster, an elite cleanup team is sent to the scene. But what they find there goes beyond any protocols.

Among the available teams are operatives armed with modern weapons and gadgets, whose group can include from 4 to 6 players. The second class is the Morphs, which can be three or four in number and have terrifying supernatural abilities that help them chase other players. And the last are the test subjects, who can be up to 20 and are simple victims trying to escape.
