Amazon is preparing to release a new e-book called Kindle Paperwhite Gen 12. A Reddit user with the nickname @gavan820 shared images of the new product.
According to the leak, Kindle Paperwhite Gen 12 will have the same design as the current model. At the same time, the new product will have a larger display - from 6.8 inches to 7 inches. The screen will have a frontal backlight, brightness and color temperature that the user can adjust independently.
Just like the previous model, the Kindle Paperwhite Gen 12 will be IPX8 certified. That is, the gadget will be completely waterproof. Amazon will install 16 GB of flash memory in the new e-reader.
The Kindle Paperwhite Gen 12 will be able to run for several weeks on a single charge. The gadget will be charged via a USB-C port with a power of up to 7.5W.
