Microsoft has released an optional update for Windows 11 (KB5043145) that was supposed to bring some minor improvements. It turned out to contain several unexpected bugs. This was reported by TechRadar.
After installing the update, users’ computers constantly require a reboot. Other users report blue or green “death screens”.
In addition, some computers open the Windows Automatic Repair tool after several reboots, and in some cases, a BitLocker repair window may even appear.
BitLocker is a Windows security tool that can protect data on your device by encrypting it, but it’s only available to Windows 11 Pro, Enterprise, and Education users.
In a support document for the update, Microsoft has acknowledged issues related to update KB5043145. The company is investigating these issues and will release a fix as soon as it is available.
However, this is an optional update, so it will not be installed on your PC automatically. We recommend that you do not install this update if you have not already installed it.
