Chinese insider Digital Chat Station published, and later deleted, a post in which he revealed details about the OPPO Find N5 foldable smartphone, which, similar to the Find N3, may be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 for a global release. This was reported by Android Authority.

According to the insider, the smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and three cameras at the back. The main camera will use a 50-megapixel Sony sensor, and the insider also says that the device will have one periscope camera, but no details are available.

It is also reported that OPPO Find N5 or OnePlus Open 2 will have one of the thinnest designs in foldable smartphones. According to the insider, the device will be about 9.x millimeters thick and will break all records.

This will make it smaller than the new Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which is 10.5 millimeters thick, and the Galaxy Fold 6, which is 12.1 millimeters thick. Perhaps Find N5 will be even smaller than the HONOR Magic V3, which is 9.2 millimeters thick.

Earlier it was also reported that the devices will have a 6000 mAh battery and a very flat screen. Apart from that, no other details about the upcoming OPPO and OnePlus devices have been disclosed, and the smartphone release in both variants is expected in the first quarter of 2025.
