Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI has recently introduced a new feature of the Grok chatbot: it can now generate images based on text queries from users.
Users immediately noticed that the chatbot did not limit their ability to create dipshots of famous politicians. However, according to The Verge, they also later realized that it did not limit them in almost any way.

If you ask Grok what rules and restrictions it has on creating images, the chatbot replies that it cannot create pornographic, violent, hateful, or promoting dangerous activities.
Among other things, the answer also mentions that the chatbot cannot infringe copyrights and trademarks. Nevertheless, it is ready to create images with Disney or Nintendo characters in any quantity. X already has a lot of such generated images using well-known characters that are clearly copyrighted.

The chatbot also says that it cannot create images that could be harmful to others, such as dipshits that are intended to mislead people, or images that could cause real harm.
These claims are also untrue, because in addition to the dipshots with politicians that flooded X immediately, it turned out that even Elon Musk himself was not protected. Moreover, Grok allows you to generate explicit photos of famous people, such as Taylor Swift in her underwear.
This might actually get him to do something about Grok lol. pic.twitter.com/oDpkQWXMjL

If you repeat the question several times or change the wording, Grok starts to name other lists of restrictions and rules, which means that the chatbot does not have any specific rules. xAI has not yet provided any comments on this situation.
While Grok creates everything indiscriminately, chatbots from other large companies have certain rules and limitations. For example, OpenAI won’t allow users to create images of real people and additionally mark images created with AI, while Grok does it without hesitation.
Oh my god. Grok has absolutely no filters for its image generation. This is one of the most reckless and irresponsible AI implementations I've ever seen. pic.twitter.com/oiyRhW5jpF

Nevertheless, there are still other image generators on the web that allow creating images that violate all possible rules and regulations for the use of AI, but these are usually little-known open-source services, not tools from large companies.
