NVIDIA is going to eliminate its outdated Control Panel and GeForce Experience programs and combine them into one app under the simple name NVIDIA. The beta version is already available for use and has received updates, The Verge reports.
The new Displays section allows you to adjust the resolution, refresh rate, and orientation of connected monitors or TVs. The controls are similar to those in the Settings section of Windows 10 or 11.
It is also possible to control RTX Video Super Resolution technology to improve the quality of older blurry web videos on RTX 30-series and 40-series cards.
You can now adjust the intensity of the technology’s intervention, and enable RTX Video HDR to upgrade SDR content to HDR using artificial intelligence. This feature also has sliders to adjust peak brightness, contrast, saturation, and average gray level.
And finally, NVIDIA has also updated the overlay of statistics output. Now you can display frame rate statistics that are underestimated by 1%, as well as CPU utilization, latency, and various GPU-related information.
Last month, NVIDIA also added a one-click quick setup option to the beta version. You can download beta versions of the program on the NVIDIA website.
