Following the promotional materials about Google's Pixel 9 line of smartphones, which revealed many details about the upcoming devices, materials about the new Pixel Watch 3 smartwatch have also appeared online. This was reported by Android Headlines.
As previously reported, the watch will come in two sizes - 41 mm and 45 mm. Now it has become known that they will also use an Acua display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits. The 41 mm model will also get 20% faster charging compared to the previous generation.
The 45 mm model is brand new, so there's nothing to compare it to yet. Nevertheless, Google promises up to 24 hours of operation in the always-on display mode, or up to 36 hours in the charge storage mode.
The Pixel Watch 3 will come with the same package as the previous generations. In addition to the watch itself, the box will also contain a USB-C charger without a power supply and interchangeable straps of different lengths.
The Pixel Watch 3 will also allow you to customize your own runs and save your workouts to beat your own records in the future. The watch will also give you audible and tactile cues on when to accelerate, cool down, and maintain your pace.
In addition, the watch will get a new Morning Brief feature that will show the wearer a summary of the most important health indicators every morning, including sleep information and readiness.
In general, the readiness indicator will also allow you to track more information about your body and understand what workouts you should or should not do. Google is also adding a Cardio Load feature that will measure how hard the wearer's heart is working.
The Pixel Watch 3, along with the Pixel 9 smartphone and the new Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones, and possibly other new devices, will be presented at the Made by Google presentation on August 13, 2024.
