More details and screenshots of One UI 7 are now available

Recently, the first details about Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7 update began to emerge, and now Smartpix has shared even more details and shown the first screenshots of the system.

The system will get an updated set of icons. All icons of standard applications on devices, such as Contacts, Settings, Camera, Gallery, and others, will be redesigned to move away from the traditional Android Material Design.

The new design will use gradients, shadows, and a 3D look, and icons will become rounder. The same changes will be used for widgets.

As mentioned earlier, the camera app interface will undergo many changes. In One UI 7, most of the controls will be moved to the bottom, and the different modes will be displayed in a new menu.

Softer and more rounded controls will also be introduced throughout the system, along with redesigned icons. Samsung is also working on its own Dynamic Island, which will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.

In addition, One UI 7 will receive animation updates that will be similar to what Apple has done in iOS or OPPO with ColorOS. Also, as previously reported, Smartprix confirms that Samsung is implementing notification and control center pages similar to how it is implemented in iOS and HyperOS.

It is worth noting that work on the new system is still ongoing, and some of the changes listed above may look completely different when One UI 7 appears on the first Samsung smartphones.
