Arc System Works announced a new game in the Double Dragon series

Arc System Works has announced a new installment of the Double Dragon series, the previous installment of which was released on the NES and Sega Mega Drive in 1994. Double Dragon Revive will be released in 2025 on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S | X, and PC.

The new game will still be in the Beat 'em up genre, but it will have modern 3D graphics. The genre has been experiencing a real renaissance in recent years. After the success of Streets of Rage 4, developers noticed that there is still a demand for arcade games among players and we saw a new Battletoads installment and a great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.

Japanese studio Arc System Works is known for its Guilty Gear fighting game series, which it has been working on since 1998.
