Samsung and ESA create Galaxy Time watch that shows time on all planets of the solar system

Samsung and the European Space Agency (ESA) have joined forces to create Galaxy Time, the first watch face for our solar system. This is stated in the ESA’s report.

One of the features of the dial is that it shows the time on all the planets of the solar system. However, this is not all that the new product from ESA and Samsung is capable of.

«Not only can you tell the time on Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, but you can see their exact positions and distances thanks to real-time data from ESA.», – the agency said in a statement.

Galaxy Time will also show interesting facts about the planets of the solar system. For example, users will be able to learn about satellites and even the weather on the planets.

«Together with ESA, one of the largest players in space travel, we have developed a watch face that offers Samsung Galaxy users a new and unique way to explore our Solar System», – said Mario Winter, Vice President Marketing, Samsung Electronics Germany.

The new dial will be available from March 31, 2024 in Germany. Space fans can learn more about the product in the German Google Play store.
