Google is preparing a version of Chrome for ARM

Chrome still doesn’t have a native version for Windows systems on ARM, unlike Microsoft Edge, which is also based on Chromium. However, Google seems to be working on solving this problem.

According to The Verge, Pedro Justo on X (Twitter) found a native version of the browser for ARM systems in the latest Cannary build. The Verge journalist was also able to confirm that this is the ARM64 version.

If you download Chrome on ARM64 systems now, the browser will work, but in an emulated state, which causes slower performance.

Google has not yet commented on when ARM support will be available in the stable build of the browser.
