WWE shows to appear on Netflix in 2025

Weekly shows from WWE, such as RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, will appear on Netflix in 2025. Interestingly, RAW will completely disappear from television in favor of a streaming service for the first time in 31 years since its launch. As a reminder, WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) is the largest wrestling promoter in the United States, owned by TKO Group Holdings.

The agreement will come into force in January 2025, but so far, the officially announced countries where wrestling will be available include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Latin America. More countries are expected to be added in the future.

In addition to weekly shows, Netflix will also offer premium events such as Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and documentaries. However, it is not yet known whether old episodes of the show will be available, which in the case of RAW is more than 1600.

It is worth noting that RAW is currently the main and most popular weekly show on the USA Network. It airs every Monday and garners more than 17 million unique viewers throughout the year, so it’s no surprise that the deal between the companies, which will make RAW and other shows available on the streaming platform for 10 years, was worth about $5 billion.

This deal will also help WWE gain a larger audience around the world, where Netflix is much more widespread than other platforms where shows like RAW, SmackDown or NXT were previously available.
