Universal Pictures is working on a new Jurassic World

Universal Pictures has plunged into the development of a new movie based on Jurassic World. It may be released as early as 2025, writes The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the publication, David Koepp is responsible for the film’s script. He was the screenwriter of the films Jurassic Park in 1993 and The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997.

The project still has no director. However, Frank Marshall, who worked on the Jurassic World trilogy, will be its producer. But Steven Spielberg is said to be the executive producer of the future film.

It is not yet known what exactly the project involves. But, according to sources, it will usher in a “new era of Jurassic” with a completely new storyline. This suggests that the cast of the previous films will probably not be involved in the new movie.

To recap, in the summer of 2022, Jurassic World 3: Dominion, a sci-fi thriller, was released worldwide. This is the third installment of the franchise relaunch. The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and others.
