Marvel’s Blade – an “adult” game about a vampire hunter from the authors of Dishonored
Bethesda and Arkane Lyon, the authors of Dishonored and Deathloop, announced Marvel’s Blade, a game about a famous black vampire hunter, during The Game Awards 2023.
According to the developers themselves, Marvel’s Blade is an adult single-player third-person game set in the heart of Paris. Marvel Games is also involved in the development.
The game will have an original storyline that was not in any of the Blade comics. Marvel’s Blade will take players to a quarantined part of Paris during a supernatural emergency. Vampires have appeared in the city, terrorizing the population, forcing Parisians to hide at home at night and wait for the sun to rise. So it’s time for Blade to go hunting.
No additional information about Marvel’s Blade is available yet, but it’s Bethesda, so it looks like it will be a kind of Microsoft’s answer to Sony’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 1/2. And of course, the game should be available on Xbox/PC Game Pass from the very first day.
