South Park: Snow Day! – the first gameplay trailer

THQ Nordic and Question and South Park Digital Studios have presented the first gameplay trailer for the role-playing game South Park: Snow Day!

Formally, this is a sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth (2014) and South Park: The Fractured but Whole (2017), but in fact it is a completely different game in terms of gameplay. Unlike the 2.5D jRPGs with a turn-based combat system of the first installments (by the way, the first one was developed by Obsidian Entertainment), South Park: Snow Day! is a 3D action/RPG with an optional cooperative mode.

In the story, snow has fallen in South Park, school has been canceled, and Cartman, Stan, Kenny, Kyle, and a player in the role of the Newcomer have to save the city from the endless winter. The cartoon’s corporate identity and humor seem to be on point, but we’ll see if real-time battles will fit this game after the release.

By the way, the game doesn’t have a date yet. But South Park: Snow Day! can already be added to your wish list on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (later) and Windows PC on Steam.
