The new Subnautica will be released in early 2025
During Krafton’s latest financial report, it became known that the release of a new game in the Subnautica series is planned for the first half of 2025, writes Rock Paper Shotgun.
Previously, Unknown Worlds had already teased a new project in the universe when they were looking for employees, but confirmation of a new game in the series has only just appeared.
Unknown Worlds, which was acquired by Krafton in 2021 after the release of the second part of the game, will continue to work on the series, but as of now, there are no details about the future project.
In addition, two other games were also mentioned in Krafton’s financial report: Project Black Budget, a PvEvP shooter scheduled for release in the second half of 2024, and Project Gold, an adventure sandbox game with a release in 2025.
