InZOI – a South Korean competitor to The Sims 5

South Korean company Krafton (TERA, PUBG: Battlegrounds, The Callisto Protocol) demonstrated the gameplay of its own life simulator InZOI (pronounced Enjoy), which uses the Unreal Engine 5 engine. And this trailer is really impressive.

While The Sims series, including, most likely, the upcoming The Sims 5, uses cartoonish graphics, InZOI impresses with an almost realistic picture. In the trailer, you can see a MetaHuman-like character editor, an editor for clothes, buildings, furniture, and almost everything else in the game. In terms of gameplay, it looks like it will be an almost complete clone of The Sims 4, but with most of the additions at once.

The release of inZOI is scheduled for mid-2024, first on PC and then on consoles.

We recently learned that The Sims 5, which is still at a very early stage of development, will be free to play and will coexist with The Sims 4.
