Address bar in Chrome on iOS can be moved down

Chrome for iOS now allows you to move the address bar to the bottom of the app, reports Engadget.

This is a minor but useful feature that will make it easier to reach the address bar on devices with a large screen. This feature has been available in Safari and Opera for a long time.

You can move the address bar by long-pressing it, after which you will have the option to choose where you want the bar to be located.

Google considered a similar feature back in 2019, but it remained only at the testing stage.

Engagdet also asked the company for a comment on whether they plan to add this feature to the Android version of the browser, but have not yet received any response.
