Fans honor the memory of American actor Matthew Perry, who died on October 28 at the age of 54. They recall not only his starring role in the TV series Friends, but also many other projects.
For example, Slashdot recalled that Matthew Perry joined the Windows 95 commercial.
This happened the year after the premiere of the first season of Friends, which received sky-high ratings. So when Microsoft released its operating system, it decided to feature the 25-year-old actor in its commercial. He was joined by 26-year-old Jennifer Aniston.
“They’ll be taking you on an adventure in computing that takes place in the office of Microsoft chairman Bill Gates,” explains the video’s narrator.
The idea is to show the characters of the popular TV series getting acquainted with the best features of Windows 95. The video lasts almost an hour and can be called a nostalgic immersion into the past.
