Galactic Annihilation Inc. (formerly Uber Entertainment, Planetary Annihilation, and Star Theory Games) has announced a new real-time strategy Industrial Annihilation is a sequel to their own 2014 game Planetary Annihilation.
This time, before sending giant armies into battle, players will have to build mega-factories that will produce combat units. The authors promise a single-player galactic campaign, multiplayer battles between two factions, and incredible combat AI. Is the RTS genre still alive?
Industrial Annihilation is due to be released on Steam Early Access in the second quarter of 2024, but the game can already be pre-ordered on the official website for $29.99. In addition, developers are collecting investments on the Star Engine website. It’s something like Kickstarter, but not for pre-orders, but for investing in startups.
