Netflix shows trailer for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off series
Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming anime Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. The long-awaited series will consist of eight episodes and will be released on November 17, 2023, writes Engadget.
The series was developed by Brian Lee O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinsky. It is based on the graphic novels “Scott Pilgrim” and returns to the roles of the actors of the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which was released in 2010.
Netflix will revisit the story of 23-year-old Sex Bob-Omb bassist Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) and his struggle to overcome the seven evil exes of his beloved Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). Scott Pilgrim Takes Off will also feature the reprisal of roles by such actors as Kieran Culkin, Ellen Wong, Brie Larson, Chris Evans and Aubrey Plaza.
We would like to remind you that the development of this anime was announced in early 2022. In March of this year, it was announced that Scott Pilgrim Takes Off had officially received the green light.
