Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will not appear in Game Pass until 2024
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and other Activision Blizzard games will not appear in Game Pass this year. The company announced this in a post on the social media X.
Activision Blizzard reported that they are pleased to see a great interest in the new game from the gaming community, but they have no plans to add their games to Game Pass.
While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare® III or Diablo IV into Game Pass this year, once the deal closes, we expect to start working with Xbox to bring our titles to more players around the world. And we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.
Microsoft plans to close the deal to buy Activision Blizzard this Friday, but still depends on the decision of the British Competition and Markets Authority, which is also due this week.
