Google’s Pixel 8 will edit photos with AI and get new silicone cases

Another leak reveals more details about the Pixel 8 smartphone, which will be presented on October 4. This time, it is about artificial intelligence capabilities that will allow users to edit images, writes The Verge.

Google’s new product will have a Best Take feature that will allow you to substitute faces from other images into your photos. Such features of the smartphone became known from the Switch to Pixel ad, which was published on the X platform.

Another leak reveals information about updated silicone cases for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. According to Kamila Wojciechowska, cited by 9to5Google, the Pixel 8 cases will be available in pink, mint, charcoal, and grey. But for Pixel 8 Pro, it comes in blue, charcoal, mint, and porcelain.

Earlier, Google posted a video on YouTube in which it revealed the design of the upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. In the video, the company does not provide any specifics about the features or characteristics of the smartphones. However, it clarifies that they will be available for pre-order on the day of the announcement, i.e. October 4.
