Amazon has introduced updated Echo Frames smart glasses. What makes them special?
During its annual fall event, Amazon unveiled an update to Echo Frames smart glasses with Alexa voice assistant, reports Engadget.
One of the advantages of these glasses is their extended battery life. Echo Frames can now play up to six hours of media on a single battery charge.
In addition, the manufacturer has improved the sound quality. Thanks to the new speaker and “open ear audio architecture,” the sound is clearer and more balanced, and the amount of distortion is reduced.
The new Echo Frames support connectivity to two devices, so users can switch between multiple sound sources more easily. The glasses also have a new notification filtering feature called the VIP filter, which prioritizes only the most important notifications.
The design of Echo Frames has also been updated. The frame is 15% thinner and looks less bulky. Moreover, it now looks more like ordinary glasses than a technological device. Echo Frames are available in seven different styles. The famous Carrera brand also contributed to the design.
The new Echo Frames will start at $270, and Carrera models will cost $390. The company did not say when they will go on sale. But he offers to sign up for notifications about pre-orders.
