The new version of the Google Camera 9.0 application has an updated interface and requires Android 14

Google is preparing for the presentation of new Pixel smartphones and the release of the next Android 14 operating system. Along with this, the proprietary Google Camera 9.0 application will be updated. Starting from September 7, the update was already available on Google Play, but not every user could get it, and the application is installed only on Android 14 (previous versions are not supported). You can also find it on APKMirror.

9to5Google’s vidannya 9to5Google has turned its attention to this.

Google Camera 9.0 (9.0.115.561695573.37 to be exact) has some pretty significant changes. Now you can switch between photo and video modes using a separate switch at the bottom of the screen. To the left of it is the settings button, which can also be expanded by swiping up.

Among the various photo modes in the app you can find: Action Pan, Long Exposure, Portrait, Photo, Night Sight, Panorama, and Photo Sphere. For shooting video, there are: Pan, Blur (Cinematic), Video, Slow Motion and Time Lapse. The Modes option at the end of the list is now missing.

At the same time, the various settings are more widely spaced in the camera interface, and there are no controls at the top. Thus, most of the necessary settings have been moved down, which will allow the user to avoid reaching for the top of the display while working. Also, the switch to the front camera and the transition to the gallery were swapped.
