Amazon announced that the Fallout series will be released on Prime Video in 2024

Amazon has announced the premiere of a series based on the popular role-playing game series Fallout in 2024. It will be released by Prime Video, reports Engadget.

The company announced the development of the franchise adaptation together with the creators of Westworld three years ago. However, the show’s release date was still unknown. Now, Prime Video has shared an image that shows Los Angeles as the setting and location of Warehouse 33.

Last fall, the Prime Video X account on Amazon published photos of characters in Vault 33 costumes, and before that, several images of Vault 32 leaked online.

When the series was first announced, Bethesda stated that it had been looking for ways to adapt the Fallout games into a movie or TV show for the past decade. The adaptation that the company eventually approved would have a serious and harsh tone, but also contain ironic humor and nuclear fantasies in the style of low-budget films.
