No Man’s Sky celebrates 7 years of release
No Man’s Sky is a phenomenal example of how developers, having received a lot of negative feedback and accusations of misleading players’ expectations, got together, admitted their mistakes, added everything they promised, and then much more.
On August 9-12, No Man’s Sky celebrated 7 years since its release (August 9-10 on PlayStation 4, August 12 on Windows PC), and yesterday the developers released a trailer dedicated to the game’s 7th anniversary and all the free add-ons the project has received during this time. And there were a lot of them during this time – 35 (!) major add-ons and 189 (!!!) official updates.
The last major expansion, Singularity Expedition, was released on June 7, 2023, and the next expansion, Echoes, is already being prepared for release. Really great work, Hello Games, congratulations!
