Sony announced a new TV model BRAVIA XR A95L

Sony presented the update of the A95 TV line in 2023, the full name of which seems to contain all the main advantages of the new products: Sony BRAVIA XR A95L QD-OLED 4K HDR Google TV.

Like last year’s model, the A95K, the new model uses a QD-OLED panel, which Sony says is 200% brighter than a “normal” OLED panel. The line includes models of three diagonals: 55″ worth $2,800, 65″ – $3,500, and 77″ – $5,000.

Little is known about the technical characteristics of the new products: the TVs work under Google TV, there is support for Google Assistant and Apple Airplay. HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K@120 video mode and VRR and ALLM. Also, Sony promises exclusive functions for working with PlayStation 5 and declares support for Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, and Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode technologies.

Sony BRAVIA XR A95L already has an official page, pre-orders will be accepted starting August 21.
