29 out of 30 cruise missiles destroyed! Another impressive work of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
On the night of May 17-18, 2023, the air defense of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 29 out of 30 cruise missiles of Russian terrorists. This was announced by Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was again a combined attack using sea-based, air-based, and land-based missiles, but this time without the Kinzhals. 22 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched from strategic aviation aircraft, 6 Kalibr cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea, as well as 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles from ground-based operational-tactical missile systems.
In total, air defense destroyed 29 cruise missiles and 4 UAVs overnight.
It seems that we have become accustomed to the daily high-quality work of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but we should not forget at what cost and with what superhuman efforts this is achieved. Thank you, AFU!
