Tesla now offers the Model S Plaid Track Package, which increases the top speed of the electric car to 322 km/h (200 mph). It costs from $15,000 to $20,000.
Last year, Tesla added Track Mode, which allowed the Model S Plaid to accelerate to 282 km/h. Obviously, the car had a speed limit, but the company was in no hurry to remove it. At most, there were enthusiasts who managed to bypass the restrictions and accelerate the electric car to 348 km/h.
The Model S Plaid Track Package officially raises limit up to 322 km/h. It also includes a carbon-ceramic brake kit and new discs and tires.
