The Samsung Galaxy Flip5 should also significantly increase the external screen

Small external screens significantly limit the possible scenarios of their use on foldable smartphones. Motorola pays attention to this issue, continuing to increase this display on newer Razr models. But Samsung doesn’t lag behind either.

Several sources have already reported that the new Samsung Galaxy Flip5 model will significantly increase the external display. An insider known on Twitter under the nickname Ice universe says that the diagonal of such a screen will be 3.4 inches, and its resolution will reach 720×748 pixels (305 ppi).

Earlier, the insider already reported that the external display of the Galaxy Flip5 will be larger than that of OPPO Find N2 Flip. However, in this case, it is difficult to compare them, because such a display in OPPO has a completely different aspect ratio.

Along with this, the head of Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross Young also wrote that the Flip5 will have a larger external screen, noting that its diagonal will be more than 3 inches.

A few days ago, another OnLeaks insider, along with the Mediapeanut blog also confirmed that the external display of the Flip5 should be expected precisely with a diagonal of 3.4 inches. He also added that the diagonal of the main display will be 6.7 inches, two sensors will remain in the main camera unit, and he also noted the dimensions of the case in the open state – 165×71.8×6.7 mm.

Samsung is updating its foldable smartphones this summer. It is unlikely that the concept will fundamentally change this year, so it is not so long to wait for new models.
