Brave1 platform for defense technology developers was created in Ukraine

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine launched the defense-tech cluster BRAVE1 to accelerate the implementation of defense developments. This was stated in the agency’s message on Facebook.

“BRAVE1 is a single platform for the cooperation of defense-tech companies, the state, and the military, as well as investors, volunteer funds, the media and everyone who helps to bring victory closer through technology,” explained the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

It was noted here that any person, startup or company will be able to present their idea or product to BRAVE1 and get help for growth and scaling from the state. Information about this can be found on the official website.

“Thus, business will receive opportunities for development, and our military will receive technologies for victory,” the message said.

The project was implemented jointly with the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Economy.

“We have already shown the world that Ukraine is a country of technology and innovation. UAVs, situational awareness systems, use of artificial intelligence, satellite data. These are all innovations that give us an advantage on the battlefield,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation noted.

It was previously reported that European technology companies working with the defense industry, which has long been an investment taboo for many venture capital firms, receive record amounts of funding after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
