Elon Musk announced an event dedicated to the start of deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck in the third quarter of this year

Tesla will hold a special event dedicated to the start of deliveries of the long-awaited Cybertruck electric pickup truck. The event will take place in the third quarter of this year. Elon Musk announced this during a telephone conversation with investors.

The first Cybertruck is expected to roll off the assembly line this summer, more than three years after its announcement. However, if we talk about mass production, Musk noted that it will begin only next year.

“It takes time to get the manufacturing line going, and this is really a very radical product,” Musk said. “It’s not made in the way that other cars are made.”

The head of Tesla refused to specify the characteristics and features of the electric pickup, noting that these details will be revealed during the event. “One thing I am confident of saying is that it’s an incredible product,” Musk said. “It’s a Hall of Famer.”
