Apple Music bug on iOS mixes up users’ playlists

Apple Music users on iOS complain about a bug that causes other people’s playlists and songs to appear in their libraries. In addition, some users complain that their own playlists simply disappeared or were replaced by others. This is reported by 9to5Mac.

The issue appears to be limited to the Apple Music app for iOS and may be caused by an iCloud issue that syncs the wrong data between users. Some users report that turning off iCloud syncing and then turning it back on solved the problem (the button is under “Settings” > “Apple ID” > “iCloud” > “Show All”).

Apple has faced similar iCloud syncing issues in the past. Shortly after the release of the iPhone 13, some users lost access to their music libraries if they transferred data from another phone. And last year, Windows iCloud users complained that corrupt videos and images of other users appeared in their photo libraries.
