Barotrauma, a 2D submarine simulator on one of Jupiter’s moons in a world of Lovecraftian horrors, finally left Early Access. Version 1.0 of the game is now available on Steam and is now 25% off.

The development of Barotrauma, which is overseen by the Finnish studios FakeFish and Undertow Games, started back in 2015. On June 5, 2019, the game appeared in Steam Early Access and only now, almost 4 years later, reached version 1.0.

The authors of Barotrauma were inspired by such games as FTL: Faster Than Light, Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress and Space Station 13. There is also a submarine designer, and team management, and battles with monsters, and a rather complex role-playing system. And a cooperative mode for 16 players on board one submarine.

Judging by SteamDB data, players liked the game. Steam rating of Barotrauma is 93/100, sales exceeded 1 million copies.

The current price of the game with a discount is UAH 374, but at the end of January, the lowest price was recorded at UAH 59, so maybe at the next sale you will be able to buy the game cheaper.
