The SpellForce series, the first game of which was released back in 2003, has always been a strange mixture of real-time strategy and RPG, so the announcement of a turn-based (!) global (!) strategy SpellForce: Conquest of Eo surprised many fans at that time. Well, soon everyone will be able to try a new game for themselves and decide whether it meets the canon or not.
THQ Nordic and Owned By Gravity (Wolves on the Westwind, Fantasy General II) studios have announced the release date for SpellForce: Conquest of Eo. On February 3, 2023, the game will appear on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.
The developers promise the possibility of building and customizing your own Wizard’s Tower; hiring heroes, each of whom has a personal quest; creating of live interactive grimoires, runes, artifacts, and minions; a procedurally generated campaign, and much more. It actually looks very interesting.
