Netflix has completely blocked the online cinema for Russian viewers
The ability to view content on the official website and in the application for Russians has finally been blocked. A representative of the online cinema confirmed this to AFP agency representative.
Back in early March 2022, Netflix suspended operations in Russia in protest against the full-scale ruscist invasion of Ukraine. But users with an active subscription could still watch movies and TV series using Russian IP.
As of Friday, May 27, Netflix has stopped opening in Russia without a VPN. When trying to access the site netflix.ru or netflix.com, users see a white screen and the message Not Available (“Not Available”). In fact, why do they even need it?
