Ukraine will receive 5000 Starlink terminals for uninterrupted Internet access

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) handed over to the Government of Ukraine 5000 Starlink Terminals through partnership with SpaceX. This was reported on the 5th of April on USAID official website.

Starlink satellite terminals will help unrestricted and uninterrupted data transmission from anywhere in Ukraine. This will allow government officials and critical service providers to communicate within the country and with the outside world even if the invaders destroy Ukrainian fiber-optic networks and cellular infrastructure.

Earlier Starlink has already sent the satellite internet stations to Ukraine. First party arrived on February 28, after the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov asked the founder of SpaceX Elon Musk for help. On March 9 Ukrainians received one more, larger party of Starlink stations.
